Jill Manson

Floral communication expert, celebrity florist, motivational speaker and teacher, Jill Manson, started her career in advertising. Her longing to do something more meaningful for the souls of others (and her own) led her on a powerful journey “from Marketing to Michaelmas daisies”

Jill started her journey shortly after she was inspired through an engaging spiritual interlude with a little wildflower in the Natal Midlands. Jill received a calling on her life in this powerful commune to use nature and flowers to help people communicate their feelings better to one another and themselves.

It was from here that and went on to create the unique Botanical Wellbeing and Communication concept she calls FLOWERSCAPE.

Her story of this transition and of her own growth and healing whilst developing this concept called has made her a sought-after motivational speaker. Jill presents her story and a range of these unique flower communication and flower healing workshops at conferences, on roadshows in corporate companies and in social gatherings in South Africa where she was born and around the world.

Jill studied the art of floral styling in the UK whilst developing the FLOWERSCAPE concept and came home to SA in 2004 to spend time growing her business here. In this time, she also opened Electric Butterfly Flowers, her first flower shop.

In 2009 Jill left the flower shop to pursue her dream of teaching floral design and now also owns and runs the Jill Manson Floral Design School inspiring people to take big leaps of faith and grow their own creativity through the healing medium of flowers and creative design. The school is the leading school of floral design in SA and teaches all levels of floristry to enthusiasts and career driven entrepreneurs wishing to make a living from the trade.

Jill has created floral designs and floral décor for hundreds of prestigious weddings and events. 2019 saw the launch of the Johannesburg International Flower Show. The first of its kind on South African soil. Jill was the creative director of the Netflorist Grand Flower Pavilion which housed over 50 floral design exhibits by South Africa’s top floral designers and stylists.

She has also been blessed to have her own TV Show on the DSTV Home Channel in South Africa called Fresh Cut – bringing flower love and inspiration to the homes of many.
